Hello, my name is Sigrid. I am 17 years old. I live in a small city called Holte, which is just outside Copenhagen. I go to school in Copenhagen in a school called Rysensteen Gymnasium - so every day I take the train from Holte to Copenhagen(the train ride is approximately 20 minutes long).
My house is situated in the middle of a forest where deer, pheasants and foxes lives.
I have an older brother whose name is Jon he is 19 years old. My mother’s name is Kirsten and my father’s name is Thue. My father is a doctor and my mother is a general manager for an architectural company.
Once a week I am volunteeringly helping troubled children with Danish as a second language with their homework, because they are not able to get help at home. In my free time I also enjoy cooking, playing the piano, reading hanging out with my friends and family.
Rysensteen Gymnasium is a high school, and I have been studying at this school since August 2011. I like going to Rysensteen because there is room for everybody, we have great teachers and you if you want to you can easily have an influence on what happens at the school.
I have chosen to study French, Spanish, Danish, History, Mathmatics and English on high levels, so - as you can guess - I am very fond of languages. But I also study Physics, Latin, Social Science, Music and Gymnastics.
I don’t know yet what I would like to study after I finish high school, but I have thought of studying the International Business and Communication, because that will combine my passion for languages and mathematics.
I am looking forward to go to Argentina and meet you J
