Hey, my name is Emma and I’m 17 years old and very tall. I go to Rysensteen Gymnasium, as you know, and I mainly study English, French and Spanish.
My parents are divorced and they live 10 miles away from each other. My dad, Boris, lives outside Copenhagen in a little house by a creek called Mølleåen (or “the mill creek”). I have to go to school by train when I’m staying at his place. My mom, Lotte, lives in central Copenhagen in an area called Østerbro, which is only 10 minutes from our school by bike. I’m an only child, but my mother’s new husband has a daughter who’s 19 years old. I don’t know if divorces are normal in Argentina? Here it is, and about a third of my friends’ parents are divorced.
When I have a little spare time, I like to draw and sew. Last year I went to a boarding school in southern Denmark to study arts for a year before returning to “normal school”. That’s also the reason why I’m one year older than a lot of the other students in our class.
Our class is very nice and I’m happy with it, we have had a lot of fun together from the start and we all look very much forwards to meet you! J
During the week I study and work in a café and in the weekend I go out with my friends or spend time with my family.
I don’t really know what more to tell... I like to eat Risotto, I have a cat, I’m very into tattoos and my taste in music is mixed. My all time favourite musician is David Bowie but apart from him I love the Velvet underground, The Doors, Talking heads, Death in June and music by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. I have a nose piercing, and a lot of books (mainly fantasy novels and books about art), I smoke cigarettes, I cook a lot and I am a giant Harry Potter fan.
Once again, I’m really looking forwards to meet you guys!
