¡Hola! My name is Alma Guldberg Ravn and I am seventeen years old. I live in an old, small fisherman town outside of our capital Copenhagen. I go to school at Rysensteen Gymnasium, which is one of the best High Schools in town. I really like to go to Rysensteen, I really like the people and I have lovely friends. It takes a little under an hour for me to get to school. I live with my mother in an apartment in a house with a garden. In this house we live three families and share the garden and basement. My mom’s name is Nya and she works for a publishing house. My father’s name is Ib and he works for one of the universities in Denmark. They do not live together but luckily they do not live far apart. My sister is twenty years old and lives in Copenhagen, but next year she will move to the capital of Sweden to study music. I am going to miss her very much. Something I love to do is to dance. I have been dancing samba for many years and have danced at the carnival in Copenhagen five years in a row. I love the music and the culture and all of the costumes and sequins. One of my biggest dreams is to go to Rio de Janeiro and see the carnival. I love food; especially my mother’s cooking. I look forward to tasting Argentinean food. One of the things I am looking very much forward to in the future is visiting you in Argentina. I have never been to Latin America. I look very much forward to learning about your lives.
