My name is Louise. I am 17 years old and I live in Copenhagen with my divorced parents and my 14 years old sister. I am in the first year of high school at Rysensteen Gymnasium on the language line. We learn Latin, English, French and Spanish. In my spear time I work in Tivoli, which is the third most visited amusement park in Europe. I am also together with my friends, my family or I am relaxing or doing my homework.
The school takes a lot of my time and energy. We have classes from 8.15 am to 15.30 pm almost every day and a lot of homework and assignments. Because of that it is rare that I am together with my friends in the weekdays, but I always see them in the weekend.
When I want to relax, I love to watch series. Most girly series from America like Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Sex and the City and Pretty Little Liars, but my favorites are Friends and How I Met Your Mother. I don't know if you have any of these series in Argentina, but you should watch them.
I have for a long time wanted to take a year as an exchange student in another country, but when I last year had the choice about going to high school or take a year as an exchange student, I chose the safe road and applied for high school. When I chose Rysensteen Gymnasium I didn’t knew that they had an exchange program with schools in other countries, but I look very much forward to hear from you, to show you Denmark and to visit you in Argentina.
I have only been outside from Europe one time in my life. My dad is from France and therefore most of our travels goes there. Two years ago I went to China, and it was really amazing to visit a country so different from Denmark. I have never been in South America, so I think it is very interesting to learn about it in school and I look very much forward to go there myself.
