My name is Pernille Sandberg. As you already know I am a student at Rysensteen Junior College in Copenhagen. This junior high school is known for its democratic way of working and handling problems that might appear. Students really have a voice on this school, and the atmosphere is in general very comfortable and positive. The atmosphere played a huge role when I had to apply for my future junior college, but not all for it. The main reason why this turned out to be the college I chose was the field of studies I could do here; here I could study English, French, Spanish and Latin at the same time. I am best at the humanistic subjects in general and I find it really interesting. Another reason why I chose to study so many languages is that I want to travel a lot in my future. I have travelled a lot in my life already, but my dreams are to study abroad and to keep experiencing new cultures and ways of watching the world. I want to be an artist and I do a lot of photographing, sketching, painting and writing in my free time. That is something I have always spent a lot of time during. Aside from working on my own stuff I assist a fashion photographer from London, now based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I come from a relatively big family; I have four sisters, and it can be a real struggle to get time to see them all. I live in a apartment with my dad, but I am planning to move out soon. I want to feel how it is to take full responsibility for myself.
I hope this will turn out to be memorable collaboration between Danish and Argentinean students and that we will learn a lot about each other’s way of living.
